You are somebody. You are loved. You matter.

I am somebody who was told that I was not going to amount to anything and I am on the front page of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. I would not be where I am today without the support of my community, my church, my friends, and my coaches. I found my voice to let people know I am somebody and I am loved.

I want to remind my members:

You are somebody.

You are loved.

You matter.

We need to keep reminding our leaders of this and that we don’t want their charity. We want the support we need to live and participate in the community.
