We cannot listen to negativity. No more R-Word.

Good morning, People First Wisconsin.

I know that over the weekend you heard that the President of the United States used the R-Word. It is not acceptable. This is the 21st century and he used the R-Word. I want you to know that you are a person first and you have a name second. All of you matter and you are loved and you are part of your community and that's what counts, NOT the R-Word. We cannot listen to negativity. We are strong people and we are not our disability. So in closing, I want you to know from the executive director that you matter and you are loved.
