Cindy's Bi-Weekly Letter 1/9/23

Good Morning Members,


I hope to find you well this morning. I know it has been awhile since you heard from me because I was on break. I had a pretty good break other than a few sad events. I lost my mother and I lost a friend to a tragic car accident. How I am handling my trauma is by putting it in Godโ€™s hands and it will be a long road, but I will get through this because I have a good support system.


๐ˆ๐ญ ๐ข๐ฌ ๐ข๐ฆ๐ฉ๐จ๐ซ๐ญ๐š๐ง๐ญ ๐ญ๐จ ๐ก๐š๐ฏ๐ž ๐Ÿ๐ซ๐ข๐ž๐ง๐๐ฌ ๐š๐ง๐ ๐Ÿ๐š๐ฆ๐ข๐ฅ๐ฒ ๐๐ฎ๐ซ๐ข๐ง๐  ๐ญ๐ก๐ž๐ฌ๐ž ๐ญ๐ฒ๐ฉ๐ž๐ฌ ๐จ๐Ÿ ๐ญ๐ข๐ฆ๐ž.I will stay busy with work and that will help me keep going. Especially because through my work I get to advocate for others and I get to help other people which makes it worth it. There are more times that things like this will happen and you have to keep moving forward even when it is hard. ๐ˆ๐ญ ๐ก๐š๐ฌ ๐›๐ž๐ž๐ง ๐ก๐š๐ซ๐ ๐ญ๐จ ๐ฌ๐ญ๐š๐ฒ ๐ฉ๐จ๐ฌ๐ข๐ญ๐ข๐ฏ๐ž, ๐›๐ฎ๐ญ ๐Ÿ๐จ๐ซ ๐ฆ๐ž ๐ญ๐ก๐š๐ญ ๐ข๐ฌ ๐ฌ๐จ๐ฆ๐ž๐ญ๐ก๐ข๐ง๐  ๐ˆ ๐š๐ฆ ๐ญ๐ซ๐ฒ๐ข๐ง๐  ๐ญ๐จ ๐ค๐ž๐ž๐ฉ ๐๐จ๐ข๐ง๐ .


๐€๐ฅ๐ฌ๐จ, ๐๐จ๐งโ€™๐ญ ๐ญ๐š๐ค๐ž ๐ฒ๐จ๐ฎ๐ซ ๐ฅ๐ข๐Ÿ๐ž ๐Ÿ๐จ๐ซ ๐ ๐ซ๐š๐ง๐ญ๐ž๐. This is something I have learned throughout life and in the past couple of weeks. That is something I have learned from this. You donโ€™t know if you will be here tomorrow so do what you want to do that day,๐›๐ž ๐ค๐ข๐ง๐, ๐š๐ง๐ ๐ง๐ž๐ฏ๐ž๐ซ ๐ ๐จ ๐ญ๐จ ๐›๐ž๐ ๐š๐ง๐ ๐ซ๐ฒ. If you have the chance to start a new day do it and keep going. I really try to tell others I love them when we say goodbye on the phone or in person because of things like this.


I now want to talk to you about influenza (flu). ๐๐ฅ๐ž๐š๐ฌ๐ž ๐›๐ž ๐œ๐š๐ซ๐ž๐Ÿ๐ฎ๐ฅ ๐ข๐Ÿ ๐ฒ๐จ๐ฎ ๐š๐ซ๐ž ๐ง๐จ๐ญ ๐Ÿ๐ž๐ž๐ฅ๐ข๐ง๐  ๐ฐ๐ž๐ฅ๐ฅ ๐จ๐ซ ๐ข๐Ÿ ๐ฒ๐จ๐ฎ ๐š๐ซ๐ž ๐จ๐ฎ๐ญ ๐ญ๐จ ๐›๐ž ๐œ๐š๐ฎ๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ฎ๐ฌ ๐จ๐Ÿ ๐ฐ๐ก๐จ ๐ฒ๐จ๐ฎ ๐š๐ซ๐ž ๐ฐ๐ข๐ญ๐ก. You can still wear a mask if you have to be out but want to be careful. I have heard that a lot of people have not gotten their flu shots, but I was able to get mine back in October when you are recommended to get it.


๐ˆ๐Ÿ ๐ฒ๐จ๐ฎ ๐š๐ซ๐ž ๐ซ๐ž๐š๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ฒ ๐ฌ๐ข๐œ๐ค ๐ข๐ญ ๐ข๐ฌ ๐š ๐ ๐จ๐จ๐ ๐ข๐๐ž๐š ๐ญ๐จ ๐ฌ๐ญ๐š๐ฒ ๐ก๐จ๐ฆ๐ž ๐š๐ง๐ ๐ ๐ž๐ญ ๐›๐ž๐ญ๐ญ๐ž๐ซ. I think getting your shots for the flu and COVID it can really make a difference of how sick you get and it will help keep others save from getting sick or getting hospitalized. ๐ˆ๐Ÿ ๐ฒ๐จ๐ฎ ๐ค๐ง๐จ๐ฐ ๐ฒ๐จ๐ฎ ๐š๐ซ๐ž ๐ฌ๐ข๐œ๐ค, ๐ฌ๐ญ๐š๐ฒ ๐ก๐จ๐ฆ๐ž ๐š๐ง๐ ๐ ๐ž๐ญ ๐›๐ž๐ญ๐ญ๐ž๐ซ.


It is still winter even though we donโ€™t have snow. Most people are still stuck inside and isolated. It is that time to start taking down the Christmas decorations and getting ready for the New Year. I am happy that we have been able to see the sun for the last couple of days. I donโ€™t think we have very many days of sun in December so this is nice. ๐“๐ซ๐ฒ ๐ญ๐จ ๐ ๐ž๐ญ ๐จ๐ฎ๐ญ ๐ก๐ž๐ซ๐ž ๐š๐ง๐ ๐ญ๐ก๐ž๐ซ๐ž ๐ญ๐จ ๐ค๐ž๐ž๐ฉ ๐ฆ๐จ๐ฏ๐ข๐ง๐  ๐š๐ง๐ ๐๐จ๐ข๐ง๐  ๐ฌ๐จ๐ฆ๐ž๐ญ๐ก๐ข๐ง๐ --๐ž๐ฏ๐ž๐ง ๐ญ๐ก๐จ๐ฎ๐ ๐ก ๐ˆ ๐ค๐ง๐จ๐ฐ ๐ข๐ญ ๐ข๐ฌ ๐œ๐จ๐ฅ๐ it is good to still get out when you can. You can walk down your street or go in your yard for a ๐š ๐Ÿ๐ž๐ฐ ๐ฆ๐ข๐ง๐ฎ๐ญ๐ž๐ฌ ๐š ๐๐š๐ฒ.
