Good Morning Members,
I hope to find you well this morning. March is officially Women’s history month! It is to commemorate and encourage the study, observance, and celebration of the vital role of women in American history. Here is a link to learn more: https://womenshistorymonth.gov/
If you have not signed up for the Disability Advocacy there should still be time. You can contact Nancy to get signed up at 414-483-2546. You can also contact Nancy to get more information if there are spots for the hotel. If you would like to come for the day we are going to have a virtual training day on the 22nd of March and then in person will be on March 23rd. Please contact Nancy, the Office Manager, ASAP to get signed up and ask your questions so we can have a total count for attendance.
I have a reminder for you about changing your clocks forward on March 12th. For daylight savings time we will be losing an hour this coming weekend. Make sure that you change the clocks, but also know that it can affect you. I know it affects me and hopefully I can get some extra sleep before Saturday. It just takes me some time to adjust to the new time, but I’ll be alright.
I hope everyone voted in the preliminaries and I hope everyone votes in April! If you didn’t vote in the first one you can vote here because it is very important. I can’t tell you who to vote for, but I can tell you how important it is to use your right to vote. The next election is on Tuesday, April 4th. Here is helpful information from The Disability Vote Coalition:

Please do something for yourself this week. Enjoy the weather coming up and get out for a walk, but just do something for you. You can call my cell phone @ 414-852-6462 8:30am - 5:00pm, Monday - Thursday. If I am unable to take your call, I will call you back. You can reach the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline at 800-273-TALK (8255) or 988 has been designated as the new three-digit dialing code that will route callers to the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline (now known as the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline), and is now active across the United States. Here are two quotes today from Maya Angelou:
“We all should know that diversity makes for a rich tapestry, and we must understand that all the threads of the tapestry are equal in value no matter what their color.” - - Maya Angelou
